ERF is the raw format used by the Epson R-D1, the world's first digital rangefinder camera. Released in 2004, the R-D1 is a cult classic among camera enthusiasts for its analog handling (it even has a film advance lever to cock the shutter). ERF files contain the raw data from the camera's 6-megapixel CCD sensor.
